train station-Toledo, Spain

lovely mosaic tile work at the train station

train station again

city on a hill

sunshine + moat

narrow streets + lots of stairs

looking for the cathedral, which is straight ahead

found it

leisurely lunch in the sun

our terraza

tinto de verano + bocadillos + almendras + empanadillas which we already ate

no dogs cows allowed
church of Santo Tomé, inside we saw El Greco's The Burial of Count Orgaz

plaza zocodover

el alcazar

example of mozárabe architecture--hey i did learn something when i studied here!

Toledo is all about marzipan, the most disgusting fake food on earth.
here is the church of Santo Tomé constructed in marzipan.

instead of marzipan, they should focus on animal purses

they are obviously so good at it

painted molding

who doesn't like charbroiled nuns?
on our way back down the stairs

Toledo. obvs.
